Summer is Here!

First day of summer vacation! Woohoo!!
It was so great to just chill out this morning with the kiddos and not have to worry about getting anyone ready on time for school. And it was a beautiful day to play outside! Just perfect.
Here are a few of my latest custom signs…
Have an amazing weekend friends!
EDITED TO ADD: I’ve received a lot of requests for the Song of Solomon sign, and I’m not currently taking new orders for this sign. However, I am planning on making more in the upcoming weeks and will be listing them in my Etsy shop as I make them. If you are interested, please check back!

  1. I created the template in Microsoft Publisher and created a "wordart", so I don't have an exact font size. It would be close to 400-450. Let me know if I can answer any other questions!

  2. Aimee, On the signs with the dark background/white lettering, are you using a dark stain or black paint? Also, to keep the distressed look are you just sanding down the edges after you paint until you get the look you are going for? Thanks! Love your work

  3. On your SOS scripture sign, did you age the beaded board with stain or brown paint before you painted the white on it? Love it! I may get brave and try to make one with a different scripture–Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised!"

  4. Aimee, love your work! How did you hold your old boards together? Did you nail them to a larger board or just nail some small slats to the back to join them? I'm getting brave and want to make a similar sign with Great is the Lotd and greatly to be praised." Thanks
